Merry Christmas Everyone

I have been a bit lax in blogging recently but now I've retired I hope to have a bit more time to keep up to date. I have been so busy making Christmas cards & Reindeer poo that I am glad Christmas is here at last.
I received some beautiful hand made birthday and Christmas cards & in due course will take some pics & post them here.

60th Birthday Celebrations

On Saturday evening we had a party to celebrate our 60th birthdays - hubby's was a couple of weeks ago & mine is in a couple of weeks. We had a wonderful evening with lovely guests, great food & good music. Our sons & their girls did the organising, the food & the drinks. Nic's melon cocktail was lovely!! I have a few pics at the moment but loads more to come.

The results of a few weeks work

I had organised a card 'party' at home yesterday. I'm absolutely exhausted but I had a lovely day with lots of visitors both in the afternoon & the evening. In these photos you can see my Christmas card table before and after -lol! Not a lot left & quite a few orders taken.

A Birthday Jigsaw

for a puzzle fan & a couple of sample Christmas cards using the Cuttlebug 'tree tops' die. I'm making lots of cards at the moment but have no time to photograph & post them. I almost feel like I'm on a production line - lol. Got a nice crafting weekend to look forward to though.

Pretty cards

Just 2 of the many I have made this week. Both were well received which pleased me. Pic of the ruby wedding one is not good. Mirri board is hard to take a pic of especially for the photographically challenged like me. The wedding card is an A4 one.

Suddenly realised I didn't have many men's cards so thought I better make some. As for the others where the orange & black theme came from I don't know! Must have been thinking of Halloween - lol.

We've had a busy morning

Lily & I. As you can see the most important part is licking the spoon afterwards - lol ! OH picked two carrier bags full of our Bramley apples on Sunday & peeled, sliced & froze them - bless him! There are still loads on the tree but we thought we'd make Mummy & Daddy (son & dil) an apple crumble while the oven was on.
