is coming despite the weather forecast. Just outside the conservatory door this morning I found these beautiful little crocuses- or should that be crocii?. After this awful cold winter it was definitely a sight to gladden the heart.

2010! How did that happen?

Happy New Year everyone. Where does the time go?. We had a busy lead up to Christmas with birthdays & parties so no blogging got done but lots of cards got made some of which will be posted here very shortly. I must show you here my absolute favourite birthday card - made of course by my darling granddaughter. I also have photos of some of the beautiful hand made Christmas cards we received from friends. I hope you enjoy looking at them.

At long last.........................

I have some cards to show but not on here LOL. I started a new blog around this time last year solely as a show case for my cards, posted 3 cards I think & never went back LOL. TomMe Cards is now up & running. Needs a lot of work but will have to wait till after Christmas. I have a card party today & am just off to take some pics of my table. Hopefully by this evening it will be virtually empty hahaha

A Very Important Day

With a little help

I've made another couple of cards. LOL One was made from papers chosen & cut by Toni. I just added the deco & the flower. The other is for my DIL's sister who is a shoe fanatic. It was made from Jak's sheet - just deco'd & some gems & ribbon added. Thank you both very much ladies.

A card and

a gift bag. I love the colours on the card & just hope they show up properly in the photo. The gift bag & little card were made using StampinUp papers & ribbon from Toni. Thanks Toni.x I need more of these papers because they are beautiful & I will make more little bags.

Wedding card

made to match the bride's dress - I hope. My brief was black & white with a splash of red & very simple. I kept it simple but large - A4 - using b&w vellum from my stash, bright red ribbon & little black pearls on the 'O' in both their names. Inside the front piece - flowers, heart & rings. Hope the customer & the bride & groom like it.
Really must learn to take better photographs !!!

Painting & decorating

Well that's exactly what Lily & I have been doing this morning -lol. Everything, & I mean everything, in the dining room has glitter or sparkly stars on it. We have been painting & decorating boxes - lol & she says they're all for her Mummy! Lucky Mummy is all I can say!!!!

My gorgeous girl

on her 4th birthday with her cousin George. She had had a lovely day starting with candles in her breakfast brioche- lol - & then on to soft play for a party with her friends. This photo was taken in the evening at her favourite restaurant. Her one big disappointment was that George wouldn't dance with her -lol.

It seems a very long time

since I posted on here. It's not that I haven't been making cards - just my usual forgetting to take photos LOL I do have 2 to show today both for our lovely granddaughter. I can't believe she's going to be 4 at the weekend! One is from us & the other from Unkey Daves lol
We had a lovely time on our weekend away at Appleby Magna. Have a look at Pam blog to see where we stayed & what we got up to. It was slightly marred by the fact that Debs had to be taken to hospital.
I'm afraid Lily's magic wand didn't work on me because I have since discovered that I have a wedge fracture & am still in a fair bit of pain .

How could I .................

have forgotten to mention that at long last our weekend is here. It will be a weekend of crafting, eating , drinking,nattering & therapies. Seems to have taken ages to get this far & suddenly it's tomorrow. I am so looking forward to seeing friends & meeting a couple of new ones too & I do need a bit of R & R.
