A sunny day for a change

It's been a beautiful day here - warm enough to get the paddling pool out which I duly did, filled it using buckets. Lily was very excited & couldn't wait to get in so I came indoors for 2 secs to pick up a towel & where is she? Not in the paddling pool but sitting in the bucket of water I had been filling the pool with - lol.

I managed to make a card today but not sure whether I like it or not I've used Freds flowers & Secret Garden papers. I would appreciate any comments - good , bad or indifferent!

I have been given an award

by not 1 but 3 of my fellow bloggers & imag-e-nationers. Thank you very much Liz, Pam & Joanie. I need to have a think about who I am going to nominate for the award because pretty much every blog I read already has it. Guess some will get it again. lol.

The rules -
1.The winner can put the logo on their blog.
2.Link the person you received your award from.
3.Nominate at least 7 other blogs.
4.Put links of those blogs on yours.
5.Leave a message on the blogs you've nominated.

The blogs that inspire me & my choices are
Carol
Joanie
Pam
Jazz
Ger
Jak
Bev
I know Pam & Joanie that you both gave me this award but you do both inspire me so it had to be done. I also am certain that all these ladies have been awarded this before but if you don't want it again don't be so inspiring - lol :o))

Had a busy day

with my 3 year old granddaughter today. First off we went out jumping in puddles. She had a wonderful time & got absolutely soaked.lol. Can you guess from the pic what we did next? What is it about children & scraping out mixing bowls? lol I have been made up, had my hair done. made jigsaw puzzles, read stories & played with dollies - I'm worn out!!

I've made a card with my new stamp. I just had to do it in Clarice Cliff colours cos it put me in mind of her but not sure whether I like it or not.

I'd welcome any comments -good, bad or indifferent.

A card made.......

using my poppy pic from the previous post. For the first time I was able to remove the background on the computer. This may sound very simple to lots of you but I'm so pleased with myself!
No greeting on it because I have no recipient in mind yet just needed to make it - lol.

New cards made with.........

Dovecraft papers , ribbon & brads - well only one brad lol. Thought I'd take a pic of the purple poppy in the vegetable patch too but it looks more pink. I'll make a sheet with anyway - I don't mind - pink or purple - both nice lol.

3 I have to sort out a box of cards for my friend to take away with her this weekend to hopefully sell to the friends she is going with.
4 I need to have a tidy up on my table cos there are a couple of things I can't find.
5 If I have the time I would like to have a play with the new Dovecraft papers I bought at the weekend.
Who shall I tag in return??
Can only think of one at the moment but will add the others later so Carol you're it!!
