How could I .................

have forgotten to mention that at long last our weekend is here. It will be a weekend of crafting, eating , drinking,nattering & therapies. Seems to have taken ages to get this far & suddenly it's tomorrow. I am so looking forward to seeing friends & meeting a couple of new ones too & I do need a bit of R & R. Hopefully I shall have some photos to post on Sunday.

Two cards

One very special one because it was made not by me but for me & was delivered along with the wave of a magic wand to make my back better.( I had another fall) I love my granddaughter ' big as the world' lol. The other is just one of mine & got no magic in it at all lol

I got to play again

with my elephant stamp. A lady that had seen Chloe's christening card asked me to make new baby cards using that stamp - one of each. A favourite PB one came next. I usually colour her in blues & pinks so went for a complete change this time. The anniversary card is just a beautiful backing paper with my first attempt at FPC roses & some gems.
I am really busy at the moment & as usual forget to take photos of all my cards but I will try to improve on that score. lol

Just a couple

of the several cards I've made this week. One is very simple but, I hope, effective merely using some 'strokable' (cardmakers will know what I mean lol) paper which I glittered & a couple of butterflies. The other is a stamped & painted one. I am trying very hard to improve my colouring but it's not consistent. Some days good........... some days bad. lol

Silvana & Sarah. Silvana's was a simple Anita's decoupage which I thought went really well with the Kanban card blank. The champagne bottle on Sarah's was hand cut & although it's not perfect I was quite pleased with it & my customer loves it.

Where does the time go?

Although I do know where 5 days went last week. DH & I took our granddaughter away for a few days to Somerset. We had a lovely time but came home exhausted. Not doing it next year!! She'll be at school by then & I refuse to have time away when the schools are on holiday - LOL!
I have been quite busy since we got back but only have a few simple decoupaged cards to show for it.
I would appreciate any comments - good or bad!
