Nettie from the Imag-e-nation forum very kindly shared some of her drawings with us. I have printed them out & used pearly watercolours on them. A bit of matting & layering & a ribbon produced a card I like.
Just catching up with myself. I've had these images for a few weeks now & only just got round to making them. Can't wait to get on with Series 3 & 4 & then the Christmas ones which I'm just about to order! Check out La Pashe to see the new range. Bit disappointed in my photography again - not showing the depth of colour on these images & the 1st one was the best pic of a bad lot. The brick wall is the front of the card & opens from there. Can't take another though cos the card has been sent - lol.
Not had time to post much although I have been making cards. These are just a couple I've done for orders & 1 I've done for my box. Used my lovely dandelion stamp again, pearly watercolours & Papermania 'Secret Garden' papers. I really like those & use them a lot. Our granddaughter stayed over last night & at 6.30 I heard a little voice calling 'Hi Grandma' so I guess I'm in for a long day. Son & DIL are coming to lunch after they've done a boot sale to get rid of some of their clutter - so lovely roast beef dinner with all the trimmings is on the menu today - yum!
I found this quite difficult to do because I had already made some anniversary cards for this couple before I was asked to do one for 'my husband' please. I hope she likes it. I've used a template made by Shirley Anne of the Imag-e-nation forum to make the 'shaker' glass.
Must be feeling a little better because I have made up some cards with the clutter images I made earlier. The gardening one is not a Clutter card but is made with an image from Making Cards Magazine. Any comments welcome good or bad.
During my recent times of 'unwellness' I have had lots of lovely cards but the ones that mean most are the hand made ones The octagonal one & the dandelion one were sent during my last illness by Joanie & Kim. The lilac one & the pale green & white one were sent recently by Kath & Joanie. They are all beautiful cards & I really do appreciate the thought that went into them. Thank you very much Imag-e-nation friends xxxxx
& I feel dreadful but I can't sleep. I seem to have picked up yet another virus :o(. I did hope that when my underactive thyroid was diagnosed & I was taking the medication it would give me a boost & stop me being so susceptible to these viruses ( or is that virii) Made these cards before I was unwell. Used 'Cinnamon' again - I love that stamp! The anniversary card now has an insert the same colour paper that the text is on & the baby one is bugged.
a few bits I've had for ages on Izzy's card. Lots I'm loathe to use however. Would much rather look & stroke lol. The New Home card was made very quickly with the help of my very good friend Joanie who made me the window & curtains. Thanks buddy x.Very simply made with the windows having been cut out & acetate put behind, then 3d foam to lift the whole thing above the scene.
