I've had some time to play today

so I've done some 'cluttering'. I've decided it's time I used some of the bits & pieces that I've had for ages & never used so watch this space.

using Dufex decoupage & Dovecraft 'Masculine' papers. These need finishing off with inserts before I can have a play with my latest purchase. I got a new stamp in the post today so will have a play later. I am very much a newcomer to stamping so still finding my feet. Hope I make a good job of this one -lol!

Managed to get a couple of cards made

One of them using paper shapes I punched with Pam's flower & leaf embossing punches when she visited the other day and the other based very loosely on a sketch I found somewhere. I can't for the life of me remember where I found it but thank you very much whoever it was.
I very much enjoyed Pam's visit the other day. It was lovely to have someone to craft with for a change.

A sunny day for a change

It's been a beautiful day here - warm enough to get the paddling pool out which I duly did, filled it using buckets. Lily was very excited & couldn't wait to get in so I came indoors for 2 secs to pick up a towel & where is she? Not in the paddling pool but sitting in the bucket of water I had been filling the pool with - lol.

I managed to make a card today but not sure whether I like it or not I've used Freds flowers & Secret Garden papers. I would appreciate any comments - good , bad or indifferent!

Had a busy day

with my 3 year old granddaughter today. First off we went out jumping in puddles. She had a wonderful time & got absolutely soaked.lol. Can you guess from the pic what we did next? What is it about children & scraping out mixing bowls? lol I have been made up, had my hair done. made jigsaw puzzles, read stories & played with dollies - I'm worn out!!

I've made a card with my new stamp. I just had to do it in Clarice Cliff colours cos it put me in mind of her but not sure whether I like it or not.

I'd welcome any comments -good, bad or indifferent.

using my poppy pic from the previous post. For the first time I was able to remove the background on the computer. This may sound very simple to lots of you but I'm so pleased with myself!

Dovecraft papers , ribbon & brads - well only one brad lol. Thought I'd take a pic of the purple poppy in the vegetable patch too but it looks more pink. I'll make a sheet with anyway - I don't mind - pink or purple - both nice lol.

Oops I've been tagged again

1 I have to work till lunchtime today
2 I have 3 cards to make for an order
3 I have to sort out a box of cards for my friend to take away with her this weekend to hopefully sell to the friends she is going with.
4 I need to have a tidy up on my table cos there are a couple of things I can't find.
5 If I have the time I would like to have a play with the new Dovecraft papers I bought at the weekend.
